MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

In June 2024, the Institute of Public Administration (IPAC) Alberta Chapter was formed through the unification of IPAC Edmonton and IPAC Calgary. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made since that time, but more importantly, excited for what’s still to come.
In recent months, we have started a broader review and refresh of our website. This will continue to be a priority as we engage and inform our members, and establish enhanced opportunities for connection and collaboration. On that note, IPAC Alberta leadership is embarking on development of a comprehensive event plan, which will guide our efforts to bring members together to further their professional development and share their lived experiences and expertise.
These efforts are all in support of our chapter’s broader objective: contributing to excellence in the public service, and contributing to the advancement of innovative public sector management.
I encourage you to stay tuned to this website for further updates. In the meantime, if you have any questions about IPAC Alberta, or are interested in becoming involved, feel free to reach out to me at dave.ludwick@assembly.ab.ca, or to Elvie De Benedetto, IPAC's Communications lead and Secretariat, at elviedebenedetto@gmail.com.
Regards,
Dr. Dave Ludwick, Chair, IPAC Alberta
